Announcing the Publication Online of Persuasions No. 10
The complete text of Persuasions No. 10, originally published December 16, 1988, is now available on the JASNA web site.
Long out of print, Persuasions No. 10 features articles from the 1988 Annual General Meeting in Chicago, whose theme was "Jane Austen's England." Included are papers by Juliet McMaster and Park Honan. It seems fitting that this issue of Persuasions is being added to the JASNA website in the same year as our next AGM in Chicago.
Many thanks go to Montreal member Renée Charron (Treasurer, Canada), who scanned and corrected the full text of Persuasions No. 10, as she also did for numbers 11, 12, 13 and 15. Lee Ridgeway (Publications Secretary) scanned the numerous photographs and drawings and enhanced them to produce high-quality web images. In addition to the quiz presented at the Chicago AGM, the online text includes answers to the quiz, which were not in the print journal. Our thanks to Carol Ann Krug Graves (JASNA-Northern California), who helped with the quiz answers for inclusion in this online publication of Persuasions No. 10.
