Marie Sprayberry will present a look at an amazing new resource that will answer these questions and more: Martha Lloyd's Household Book, The Original Manuscript From Jane Austen's Kitchen. JASNA's own Julienne Gehrer provided the introduction and an annotated transcription for this beautiful new book from the Bodleian Library, which provides an intriguing look at Regency foodways and food preparation. How was Regency cooking similar to ours? How was it different?
