Have you been to Bath? (Or, if you are British, have you BEAN to BAWTH?) Whether or not you've visited, as a Janeite you already have a lively interest in this fascinating city. Dr. Roger Moore will share his scholarship into the life of Bath in the Medieval period—long after the Romans left it, but before the Georgians resorted to its healing waters.

Dr. Moore is a popular speaker who has enlightened JASNA members on subjects such as Jane Austen and the Reformation:  Remembering the Sacred Landscape (Ashgate/Routledge 2016). He teaches courses in 17th- and 18th-century literature and the English reformation at Vanderbilt University and is one of JASNA's Traveling Lecturers for the 2021-22 academic year.

This virtual event is free and open to all. Please register by clicking here. Please also note that the time listed is Eastern Time.
