Some members may not be aware that in 1975 the British post office issued commemorative stamps to mark the bicentenary of JA’s birth. The Scott catalogue number is: G.N. 754-57. Even if one is not a philatelist, the stamps are decorative additions to any Jane Austen collection. (Thanks to Clifford Collier of Toronto for drawing this to our attention.)
