JASNA Conference 1993: Call for Papers

 

The Society’s conference for 1993 will be held in the spectacular mountain setting of Lake Louise, Alberta, known as “the jewel of the Canadian Rockies,” on October 7-10.  As a further incentive to attendance, guest speakers will include Margaret Drabble, Elaine Showalter, and Isobel Grundy.  The novel particularly under consideration will be Persuasion.  The organizers will consider proposals for break-out sessions submitted by June 1, 1992, and will announce the program in October, 1992.  Papers should be suitable for the educated general reader.  Please send proposals to:
