·    The opening session of the AGM was a tour of Hampshire.  
   The Vyne
   Steventon 
   The neighborhoods of Ashe and Dean. 

·    In the evening we had an Authors' Assembly at the Guildhall featuring six authors in small discussion groups.

Friday, 10 October            

·    Conference sessions at the Guildhall all day with major addresses by:
     Joanna Trollope
     David Selwyn
     Irene Collins

·    Choral Evensong In Celebration of Jane Austen, in Winchester Cathedral

·    Evening Banquet in Great Hall of Winchester Castle.

Saturday, 11 October 

·    Participants visited 
     Jane Austen House Museum
     Chawton House Library
     St. Nicholas Church (Chawton),
     Village Hall

·    Evening Reader Discussion Groups were held at each  hotel.

Sunday, 12 October

·    Brunch in Guildhall with speaker , Brian Southam
