You can easily stroll to the  Lincoln home which has been restored to its 1860 appearance, revealing Lincoln as husband, father, and politician and is open to the public for guided tours.

Old State Capitol

Nearby is the Old State Capital where Lincoln began his campaign for the Senate and lay in state after his assassination.

Dana Thomas House

Be sure to visit the fully restored Frank Lloyd Wright's
