Getting to Cleveland

Cleveland is easy to reach, with 115 nonstop flights landing every day.

Downtown Cleveland is a 12-mile, 20-minute drive from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE), which provides non-stop service to 48 markets from Los Angeles to Boston and many cities in between.

Many visitors to Cleveland choose to fly via Akron-Canton Airport (CAK), which is less than an hour from downtown and offers competitive airfare. Taxis and ride-sharing services are available for transportation from Akron to Cleveland.

Travelers by train will arrive at Cleveland’s Amtrak Station at 200 Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, 1.6 miles from the hotel. Two major Amtrak routes go through Cleveland and connect to Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City, and Boston.

For those driving to the AGM, the hotel offers self-parking at $38 per day and valet parking at $48 (prices subject to change). Cleveland is situated at the intersection of three major interstate highways (I-77, I-90 and I-71).

Getting from Cleveland Hopkins Airport to the AGM Hotel

The Hilton is accessible from CLE by RTA Rapid service running to Tower City Center on Public Square every 15 minutes. From Tower City, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the Hilton. A one-way RTA Rapid fare is $2.50, while an all-day unlimited pass is $5.00 ($2.50 for seniors). Farecards are available at the train station, and all-day and 7-day passes may also be purchased through the RTA CLE app for iPhone and Android. Farecards may also be used for buses, including the Healthline, which offers a direct link between Downtown Cleveland and the many arts and cultural institutions in University Circle.

Taxis and ride-sharing services are available from CLE to the hotel. Depending on time of day and other factors, you can expect to pay $30-40 for Uber or $55-70 for a taxi. Closer to the AGM, JASNA will offer an online bulletin board to facilitate finding other members with whom to share rides.
