Jane Austen Garden Party
Join JASNA Massachusetts and Gore Place for a delightful garden party, featuring lawn games, archery, high tea, and a stroll through the historic Gore Mansion on a beautiful 19th century estate—a site fit for one of Austen’s famous novels. The party starts under a spacious tent. Tables and chairs will be provided, but you may bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blankets if you wish.
Event tickets include tea sandwiches and assorted patisseries provided by Vintage Tea & Cake Co., plus lemonade or iced tea. (Add a mini bottle of wine for $10 more.)
Regency Period dress is encouraged but not required. This event is intended for adults, but children 11 and up may attend. There will be ample free parking. The entire site is accessible, and modern indoor restrooms will be available.
General admission is $40 ($50 with wine). JASNA and Gore Place members (or Card to Culture holders) pay $35 ($45 with wine). If you choose the wine option, you will be asked to select red or white at checkout. I.D.’s will be checked at the event for anyone ordering wine.
Capacity is limited. Advance tickets are required by Wednesday, July 10.
