Speakers for this meeting will be Wendy Jones, author of Jane on the Brain: Exploring the Science of Social Intelligence with Jane Austen, and fiction writer Brandon Taylor, whose debut novel Real Life was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. Taylor also penned the introduction for Vintage Books’ 2025 edition of Persuasion. A Q&A will follow each presentation.
A reception with coffee, tea, sandwiches, and conversation will start the afternoon. After the presentations, we will serve more refreshments.
