Food and Love in the Regency: A Jane Austen Valentine's Celebration

Join the Northern California Region for a cozy Jane Austen Valentine's Day celebration with the theme "Food and Love in the Regency." Anne Krause will start the evening with a short presentation on culinary culture and romantic traditions in the Regency era. This will be followed by an open discussion of food and romance in Austen's novels. The topic will be a springboard, not a constraint, to a lively conversation. 

Krause has been a member of the Northern California Region since 1985 and has played many roles, including regional coordinator and programming coordinator. She is also an avid cook with a special interest in historical cuisine.
