Regency games

Save the date for the Southwest Region's Jane Austen birthday celebration with the theme "Frivolous Diversions: Music and Card Games in Jane Austen's Time."

The event features two speakers, Dr. Lidia Chang of Colorado College and Dr. Regulus Allen of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. We will have a buffet continental breakfast and a plated lunch. After lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to play the Regency card game Speculation featured in Mansfield Park. The event also features a Holiday Emporium and opportunity baskets.

JASNA is a nonprofit organization, staffed by volunteers, whose mission is to foster among the widest number of readers the study, appreciation, and understanding of Jane Austen’s works, her life, and her genius.
