The Genius of Jane Austen

Join the Virtual Region for a free Zoom event featuring guest speaker Paula Byrne. Byrne's book The Genius of Jane Austen is subtitled Her Love of Theatre and Why She Is a Hit in Hollywood and represented an expanded edition of her critically acclaimed 2002 book Jane Austen and the Theatre, in which the central thesis was that Austen's comic genius was decisively shaped by her love of the theater.

Registration is free. Virtual Region members will automatically receive a meeting notice. Non-members of the region can request to attend by sending an email titled "Free Registration" to jasnavirtualregion@gmail.com.
