Morgan Library Exhibition Expedition

The Maryland Region is organizing a trip to New York City for members of the Maryland and Washington, D.C., Metropolitan regions to tour the "A Lively Mind: Austen at 250" exhibition at the Morgan Library, co-curated by Juliette Wells of Goucher College.

A bus will pick up members at three locations: Greenbelt Metro in the greater Washington, D.C., area; White Marsh in Maryland; and Woodcrest, New Jersey. A restroom/snack stop will be available on both legs of the journey.

We have a total of 40 spots on the private tours we’ve secured for our group. Each tour will host 20 guests. Once the 40 spots are full, you can still ride the bus (we have 15 more seats available), and enjoy a day exploring the Morgan’s exhibits, including the Austen exhibit (just no private tour). You’ll be free to wander at your leisure.

Deadline to register is May 18, but the event is likely to sell out well before then. Cost for the trip is $80 for student members, $84 for 65+ seniors, and $92 for adults. Cost includes bus fare and admission to the Morgan. The plan is to arrive in NYC by 11 a.m. and depart by 5 p.m.

No refunds on the bus fare unless we fill your seat. If a refund is issued, a $5 PayPal fee will be deducted. Thank you for your understanding!
