*Between March 1, 2024, and December 31, 2025, Student Membership is available free of charge to students currently enrolled in a course of study leading to a high school diploma, college/university degree, trade or professional license or certificate, or equivalents of these. Students are required to indicate their current course of study on the membership application form.
**International members have mailing addresses outside the US and Canada.
Enrolling online is quick and convenient, and your membership will take effect immediately.
Canadians: You can enroll in a Canadian Individual or Student Membership online at the U.S. dues rate. To pay by check or to enroll in a Canadian Life Membership, print the form provided below and mail it with your check, payable in Canadian dollars, to the Canadian Membership Secretary.
Click the "Join Now" button to enroll online using a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. (Transactions are processed in U.S. dollars.)
Use the Gift Membership Form to give someone a JASNA membership. To make it a surprise, be sure to follow the instructions on the form or email membership@jasna.org for assistance.
To renew a current or recent membership, log in to JASNA’s Member Portal and select "Renew Membership" from the dropdown menu to access a short renewal form. If you don't remember your login name and password, email membership@jasna.org for help.
Print the appropriate Membership Form provided below and mail it in with your check. Memberships paid by check take 4 to 6 weeks to process after JASNA receives the completed application form and dues.
New members will receive a Welcome Email after their enrollment has been processed.

The Jane Austen Society of North America is dedicated to the enjoyment and appreciation of Jane Austen and her writing. JASNA is a nonprofit organization, staffed by volunteers, whose mission is to foster among the widest number of readers the study, appreciation, and understanding of Jane Austen’s works, her life, and her genius. We have over 5,000 members of all ages and from diverse walks of life. Although most live in the United States or Canada, we also have members in more than a dozen other countries.
