Danielle Barkley has a Ph.D. from McGill University, as well as B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Toronto. Her dissertation focused on silver fork novels in the 1820s and 1830s, and her teaching interests include Romantic and Victorian literature. Her current research focuses on how periodical culture shaped fictional genres in the nineteenth century.
