Give to JASNA's Annual Fund

Support JASNA with a donation to our Annual Fund and consider joining the 250 Circle.

As a non-profit organization, JASNA relies on donations to supplement membership dues and fund the programs and strategic initiatives that support its mission: to foster among the widest number of readers the study, appreciation, and understanding of Jane Austen’s works, life, and genius.

Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact. Your support enables us to offer:

  • Outreach programs that inspire new generations of readers to explore Austen's works through initiatives like JASNA’s Essay Contest, Young Filmmakers Contest, Austen Chat podcast, and Jane Austen Book Box program.
  • Grants that help JASNA's regional groups host engaging programs and events in their communities.
  • JASNA's signature Annual General Meeting (AGM), which brings together Austen enthusiasts and scholars for the largest conference of its kind, while also generating content for our highly regarded publications, Persuasions and Persuasions Online.
  • New initiatives aimed at serving and retaining our growing membership for years to come.

Join the 250 Circle: A Special Giving Opportunity to Honor Jane Austen’s Legacy

JASNA 250 Circle logo

In honor of the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, JASNA has established the 250 Circle to recognize members or friends who donate $250 or more to JASNA between September 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025—whether through a single donation or multiple gifts. (Canadian members become part of the 250 Circle by contributing $250 CAD or more directly to JASNA Canada during this time period.)

We invite you to become part of this special giving circle and demonstrate Jane Austen’s impact on your life and your ongoing commitment to JASNA’s mission. Your generosity during this milestone year will help ensure that JASNA remains a vibrant and welcoming literary community.

Members of the 250 Circle will receive special recognition in 2025, including an invitation to an exclusive reception at JASNA’s 2025 Annual General Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. Please note that donors who wish to receive an invitation to the reception must join the 250 Circle by August 31, 2025.

Join the 250 Circle today as a reflection of your dedication to Jane Austen and the JASNA community. Your support helps us continue sharing Austen's genius with the world.
