Endorsement Policies

The Board of Directors of the Jane Austen Society of North America has adopted the following governance policies for itself, its Regions, and its members.

JASNA "No Endorsement" Policy

JASNA shall make no endorsements of commercial products or services, and if an individual member of JASNA endorses such a product or service, then the individual’s affiliation with JASNA (including an officer's title) cannot be revealed.

JASNA Crowdfunding Policy

JASNA and its Regions shall not endorse or publicize crowdfunding campaigns of third parties or of JASNA members through any announcements, publications, communications channels (such as mail, email, websites, and social media), or events.
