JASNA AGM 2022 attendees, you have many accommodation options before you!
JASNA room blocks have been arranged at three hotels in our downtown Victoria core, each offering its own character and advantages. You may choose from the Fairmont Empress, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria, and the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour. Our conference activities will take place at the Victoria Conference Centre, which is conveniently attached to the Fairmont Empress and within a five-minute walk of the other two AGM hotels. A stunning homage to the cultures and traditions that make Victoria a great place to connect, the Victoria Conference Centre (VCC) is our city’s largest conference facility.
All three hotels are extending the JASNA discounted rates three days before and three days after the AGM based on availability. Reservations must be made by September 8, 2022, to receive the JASNA rate. Please be aware that JASNA does not have a “conference housing bureau” or “agent” and does not contact attendees to process their room reservations. Anyone offering to do so is engaged in fraud.
The JASNA room blocks at all three hotels will open at 12:00 noon EDT/9:00 am PDT on June 16, 2022. Prior to that date, the links below will
not work or will not show the discounted JASNA rate, nor will the representatives at the listed phone numbers accept reservations. If, after 12:00

Fairmont Empress

The Empress, as it is colloquially known, is one of downtown Victoria’s most famous landmarks and is located right on our beautiful Inner Harbour. Built in 1908, it is one of Victoria’s oldest hotels and is famous for its location on the harbour-front and for its afternoon tea. The Empress contains 464 guest rooms and suites, beautifully fitted in modern, elegant style. For those who enjoy the atmosphere and unique characteristics of a historic hotel, staying at the Empress is the quintessential Victoria experience!
The Empress is connected to the Victoria Conference Centre, where AGM programs and activities will take place. Due to the size and layout of the hotel, corridors are quite long. Please be sure to mention any mobility issues when making reservations, or consider choosing the Doubletree instead, which may offer a shorter walk to the Conference Centre.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria

The DoubleTree by Hilton, a modern, 19-story hotel, is located across the street from the Victoria Conference Centre, within easy walking distance. The hotel has 181 guest rooms.
The single/double room rate at the DoubleTree is $245 CAD per night. This rate is in Canadian dollars and is subject to applicable tax, which is currently 17% per room, per night, and is subject to change without notice.
Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour
728 Humboldt Street
A 16-story hotel offering 236 rooms and suites, the Marriott Inner Harbour is located next to the DoubleTree, a short walk to the Conference Centre.
